Friends of Brunswick Meeting – Wednesday 4 October at 12.00pm Brunswick Cabin, in the Garden!
Now that we are a few weeks into the term it seems like a good time to get the Friends of Brunswick up and running for this year.
The Friends of Brunswick was established to help families to get to know each other and to raise money for a number of specific projects. Events have included a pumpkin party, cake sales, Christmas pudding sales, quiz night, spring fair and a sponsored mini Olympics. The funds raised have supported initiatives such as the forest school project, plants for the garden, toys, books and ride- on toys.
We need to establish a committee for this year and elect a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. We will be doing this at a brief initial meeting on the above date. If you are interested in coming please and/or standing for election please contact rachelcuthbert01@yahoo.co.uk
We really need a group of energetic and committed parents to help make this work.
Pumpkin Party
The Pumpkin Party will take place on Saturday 11th November at Milton Country Park this year. It will take place in the afternoon but times and ticket details will follow.
Forest Schools
Dates and times will be released in the next couple of weeks. The first trips will be in November.
Spare clothing
It would be really helpful for us if you could make sure that the children have a dry change of clothes with them every day. Please bring the clothing in fabric bags as we feel plastic bags are not safe when left on the pegs where children can access them freely.
Buggies and pushchairs
We have a lot of buggies left during the children’s sessions, which is fine, however can we ask that where possible can these please be folded flat to allow space for cycles and scooters to be stored safely.
